Privacy Policy
SEENERA is in a discovery and development phase. This site exists to explain what we’re building, to invite patients and clinicians into conversation with us, and to let you sign up for occasional updates. This policy describes what information that involves, how we use it, who helps us process it, and how to have it removed. We have tried to describe only what we actually do.
What we collect
Updates sign-up. If you join our email list, we collect your email address and the date and time you signed up. Giving your name, or telling us whether you are a patient, clinician, or other, is optional; we store those only if you choose to enter them. We do not store your IP address or location. The sign-up form also contains a hidden field that only automated bots tend to fill in; we use it to discard spam and it collects nothing from people.
Requesting a conversation. The "Share your experience" and "Talk with us" links open your own email program addressed to us. Whatever you choose to write, along with your email address, reaches us as an ordinary email. There is no need to share medical details, or patient details if you are a clinician, in that first message; we will cover everything in conversation.
Discovery conversations. If we go on to speak with you, we may take notes and, only with your consent, record and transcribe the conversation. What is collected, how it is used, and how it is stored is covered in the consent information you receive before any conversation takes place, and that information governs.
Visiting the site. Like every website, our hosting provider processes technical information about requests (such as IP addresses and browser type) in order to serve pages and protect against abuse. We do not set our own cookies, and we do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site.
How we use it
- To send you occasional SEENERA updates, if you signed up for them.
- To reply to you, and to arrange and hold a conversation, if you asked for one.
- To learn from discovery conversations, in the way described in the consent information you receive.
- To operate and secure the website.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to do the things above. They process information on our behalf and for these purposes only:
- Website hosting and storage (Cloudflare). This site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Sign-up information is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, a storage service on Cloudflare's global network, which means it may be held on infrastructure outside your country.
- Fonts (Google Fonts). The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google's servers, so your browser sends Google a request (including your IP address) when the page loads.
- Email. Messages you send us, and updates we send you, pass through the provider that hosts our seencertified.com email.
- Conversations. To schedule, hold, and, with your consent, record or transcribe discovery conversations, we may use third-party scheduling, videoconferencing, and transcription services. The specific tools used for your conversation are identified in the consent information you receive beforehand.
Recording and transcription
We do not record or transcribe a conversation without asking first. If you would rather not be recorded, tell us and we will take notes instead. If a recording or transcript is made, it is handled as described in the consent information for that conversation.
How long we keep information
- Email list. We keep your sign-up details until you ask to be removed or we retire the list. To unsubscribe, reply to any update or email us at the addresses below.
- Conversation requests. Emails you send us are kept as ordinary correspondence for as long as we need them to follow up with you.
- Conversation materials. Notes, recordings, and transcripts are kept for the duration of our discovery work, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to be removed from the email list. Email [email protected] or [email protected] and we will act on it. Deletion from our email list is straightforward; deletion of conversation materials is handled as described in the consent information for that conversation.
Children
This site and our discovery conversations are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the effective date above.
